Cydar Medical is a medical technology company that specializes in surgical guidance software. Their primary focus is on developing advanced imaging and artificial intelligence (AI) technology to assist surgeons during minimally invasive procedures, particularly in the field of vascular surgery.
Their software uses 3D imaging and AI algorithms to provide real-time navigation and guidance to surgeons, helping them accurately position and place medical devices such as stents and catheters within the body. This technology aims to improve the precision, efficiency, and safety of surgical procedures, ultimately benefiting patients by reducing risks and complications associated with surgery.
During my collaboration with the talented team at Designhouse, I had the opportunity to contribute to the website rebranding project for Cydar Medical. Utilizing the UX wireframes provided by our UX designer, I crafted an MVP with several pages, while also refining the new brand style established by fellow designers at Designhouse. Additionally, I formulated a comprehensive style guide and component system, further enhancing the graphical elements and illustration system to ensure a cohesive and visually appealing outcome.
Cydar’s AI scanner live maps arteries and blood vessels to help surgeons have better precision during surgery. In this prototyping example of my design exploration in the project’s first phase, I’ve tried to emulate the view inside the arteries, resulting in this tunnel-like animation.
